Becoming BYU

The "We Are BYU" print campaign is designed to promote inclusivity on BYU campus by highlighting students who break the traditional stereotypes of a BYU student, not just in looks but who they are.

This is a current ongoing campaign as we recently got permission to move forward with the project.

The campaign showcases the diverse backgrounds, interests, and experiences of these students you normally don't think of. It's to encourage acceptance and appreciation of individuality within the BYU community.

These are the first two posters that will go up on campus, featuring Tala, a Palestinian student, and Noah, an on campus EMT.

These were the mock images that we originally presented to the board of BYU, including BYU's president and vice president.

Here's me with BYU's president, President Reese. I feel lucky to have worked with a great team that presented our work to BYU's President Reese. Shout out to BYU's coolest and most woke president (imo). It was a cool moment to have him approve of the project.

Freshman year me would be stoked. I have always wanted to make an impact on the inclusivity here at BYU.

Having had experiences myself where I did feel different and as if I didn't belong at times, this project meant a lot to me.
